AQS Tannery Group is driven by quality and high level of customer service. We are based in Laverton North, Melbourne, right in the heart of the sheepskin industry. In our warehouse we salt, class and pack into containers all skins we purchase direct from abattoirs around Australia. We are located only 15km from the city and 10km from the Sea port. AQS Tannery Group’s business model is to supply worldwide tanneries and agents with consistent quality year after year. Over our many years in business we have developed very good relationship with our suppliers and customers.
We at AQS Tannery Group pride ourselves on is our classing skills and quality control. Our classers have between 5-40 years’ experience. We can take your orders according to your tannery specification on request. Looking forward to starting long term business with you.

OUR PRODUCTS
Sheep Skins
Sheepskins come a mature animal that has been shorn several times. Sheepskins have a wide range of uses such as shoe/ garment lining, car seat covers, equestrian products, garments and also apparel (from wool). The season is available throughout the year. We understand the importance of classing correctly.
Spring Lambskins
Spring lambskins are skins from lambs that are not shorn yet. These skins are also known as “Suckers” and “New Season Lambskins”. Spring lambskins produced in Australia and are of the highest quality and used for premium products such as high quality Double face shoe’s and garments, decorator rugs, car seat covers, and dusters.
Shorn Lambskins
Shorn lambskins come from lambs which have been shorn at least once. Shorn Lambskins have a wide range of uses which include, car seat covers, garments, shoe lining, underlays, footwear and carpets. Our shorn lambs are carefully classed for Density and we understand how important this is.
